Truck loaded with LPG cylinder catches fire

JAMMU, Aug 24: Information received at P/S Nagrota through PCR Jammu that one truck bearing registration No. JK05B-2034 loaded with HP gas cylinder, on its way from Jammu to Srinagar near S-Morh, Nagrota Bye-Pass suddenly caught fire.
On receiving the information, police party of P/S Nagrota along with fire extinguishers rushed to
the spot and control the fire to proceed further into the truck with the help of fire extinguishers and averted a major incident. The cause of fire was known as heating up of front tyre rim.
