Youth Congress, NC leaders join PDP

JAMMU, Jun 11: Over a 200 prominent Youth Congress and NC leaders today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir in presence of party General Secretary Sh. Ved Mahajan , MLC Firdous Tak , State Vice President Youth Varinder Singh Sonu who claimed that youth leaders are joining the party in large numbers which is an indication of the party's increasing popularity.
Sh. Ved Mahajan welcomed the new entrant into the party fold and asked them to start door-to-door canvassing to spread the message of party leadership amongst the masses at grass root levels. Among the activists who joined the party included Imran Sheikh, Aquib Mughal, Mol Raj , Imran Bhatti, Mohi-ud-din, Amjad Mughal, Ishan Gupta, rahul Sharma, Sajjad Hussain, Rajan Sharma, Kunal Sharma, Shabaz Malik, Ishan, Sanjay Mehra, Kem Raj and Many more Joining is organized by Wasil Doolwal
Speaking on the occasion, Ved Mahajan said that the party has grown as a credible voice of the people due to its vision and policies. MLC Firdous Tak said youth in Jammu and Kashmir could act as the greater inspiration for the government and the PDP to secure a better future for the state. The PDP MLC said it is the youth of the state who give the political leadership a temper of the will, quality of imagination, vigour of emotions, a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity and an appetite of hardwork over love of ease. "The PDP was founded with the idea to secure a prosperous future for the young generation which was crushed by the uncertain era of bloodshed and mayhem," Tak said in his address.
Jammu Dist President Rajinder Manhas while addressing the youth asked them to work earnestly to strengthen the social, economic and political institutions of the state which will ensure justice and fullness of life to every single person of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior leaders who were present in the joining programme were Anjum Mirza, Balbir Singh, E Peter, Girish Sharma, Swarn Singh Santy, Neeraj Chandel, Pankaj Gupta, Naveen Sharma, Rafiq Malik, Talib Choudhary, Khalid Alaie, Dimple Kumar, Sandeep Jamwal, Deepak Gupta, Amit Gupta and many other Youth Leaders are presented.
