BJP releases election manifesto for Ladakh Parliament Constituency

Leh, MAY 1: Bharatiya Janata Party, releases election manifesto for Ladakh (Leh & Kargil) Parliamentary Constitue ncy for 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.
The manifesto for the Ladakh, Parliamentary constituency was released by BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul along with BJP State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh.
Ashok Kaul, while elaborating on the BJP's manifesto for the Ladakh Parliamentary Constituen cy committed on party's stand to fight for attaining the Union Territory status for Ladakh, inclusion of Bhoti Language in 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution, declaration of Ladakh under 6th Schedule of the Indian Constitution (Tribal area), opening of Kailash Mansarowar Road via Ladakh for the pilgrims, early completion of Zojila Tunnel, Taglang-la, Lachung-la and Shinkup-la, early completion of Kargil-Padum & Nimoo-Darcha Road which lead to decrease the Airfare of Ladakh and early completion of New Airport Terminal worth Rs. 450 crores to manage more than ten flights a day.
Kaul said that BJP manifesto also committed itself for making of Divisional Status full functional on priority base, sanctioning of Government Medical and Engineering Colleges for Ladakh, early completion of Civil Airport at Kargil for which 200 crores is already sanctioned, early completion of Railway Line connectivity to Ladakh which is sanctioned as National Project of Northern Railway and creation of New District for Zanskar, Drass, Nubra, Changthang and Sham.
Ashok Kaul further said that BJP manifesto also included major points on building major power infrastructure in the Ladakh that includes, early completion of Transmission Line from Leh to Nubra, Kargil to Padum, Leh to Nyoma and Leh to Durbuk, early completion of 24 MW Hydel Power Project at Shayok, Durbuk, early completion of Tamasha Nalla Hydel Power Project in Zanskar, early sanction of Multi-Purpose of Terisha Thoise Hydel Power Project and installation of 50 MW Solar Power Plant at Phey.
Kaul, stressing on the development of tourism sector, said that BJP manifesto stresses upon its commitment for the establishment of Hotel Management Institution for Employment generation for our youth, full fledge functioning of Nubra Development Authority, creation of New Development Authority to Sham and Changthang, "Udaan" Scheme for low cost air connectivity to Nubra and Kargil, legalization of trade with India and China via Changthang, up-gradation of Khaltse and Nyoma medical central to Sub-District Hospital and fully adaption of Mission Organic Development Initiative, Modi of Ladakh(organic plant).
