Citizen's Forum welcomes Finance Minister's statement

JAMMU, Aug 1: Citizen's Forum welcome the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman when she said Banks cannot refuse credit to MSMEs under the emergency credit facility and any refusal should be reported. In J&K UT Bankers have been denying this facility to small businesses and MSME, with irrelevant rules and regulations. Units are closed due to lockdown and covid threat and have become penny less in the absence of any business.R K Chadha president Citizen's Forum said on the request of many such unit holders , Mrs.
Loveleen Chadha a women enterpraneur wrote a letter to The Fimance Minister that under these circumstances do we have to Beg for this loan from Bankers to keep our house and employees in working conditions. She also requested to Sh. BVR Subrama nyam the chief Secretary and The LG Sh. G C Murmu of J&K UT to see that Bankers does not refuse this loan as 3 months further Moratorium is in the offing. But Bankers just avoided. Chadha further request LG sh. G C Murmu and the Chief Secretary sh BVR Subramanyam to see that Bankers do not play traunt with small businesses and MSME and start giving this loan immediately.
