Soldier martyred in exchange of fire as Army foils infiltration bid in Battal Sector of Poonch

JAMMU, Jul 23: Army soldier was martyred on Tuesday in exchange of fire as army foiled an infiltration bid in Battal Sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
"All ranks of #WhiteKnightCorps salute the supreme #sacrifice of #Braveheart Lance Naik Subhash Chander who laid down his life in the line of duty," the White Knight Corps posted on X.
#WhiteKnightCorps offers deepest condolences and stands firm with the bereaved family in this hour of grief, it further posted.
Earlier in a day, the White Knight Corps said that alert troops foiled an #infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating #terrorists with effective fire in the #Battal Sector at 0300 hrs.
On Monday, terrorists attacked an Army post and a house of VDG member in Gundah area of Budhal in Rajouri district.
One army personnel and a relative of VDG member got injured as the Army thwarted the attack.
