Mata Ka Jagran at Shri Chandi Mata Bhawan marks commencement of Annual Shree Machail Yatra

KISHTWAR, Jul 26: The Directorate of Tour-ism Jammu, in association with the District Admini-stration Kishtwar and the J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, organized a grand "Mata Ka Jagran" at Shri Chandi Mata Bhawan in Machail.
The event was spearheaded by Deputy Com-missioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, to mark the commencement of the Annual Shree Machail Yatra. The Jagran, held on the eve of the first day of the yatra, was a vibrant and spiritually uplifting event. ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal, along with CEO Kishtwar Develop-ment Authority Dr Rishi Kumar Sharma, AO DC Office Satinder Kumar besides other officials from the Machail Yatra Cell, were present to oversee and support the proceedings. The event was also graced by the presence of hundreds of devotees, who gathered to seek blessings and participate in the festivities. The night was filled with devotional fervor, featuring live performances by renowned artists such as Chaman Lehri and Daljeet Singh Rathore. Their soulful renditions and devotional songs created a serene and divine atmosphere, captivating the audience throu-ghout the night.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav expres-sed his felicitations to all the participating organizations and artists for their efforts in making the event a grand success. He highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the Annual Shree Machail Yatra and the importance of such events in fostering communal harmony & spiritual upliftment.
The event marked the beginning of the much-anticipated pilgrimage, with devotees embarking on their journey to the holy shrine of Shri Chandi Mata. The District Admin-istration has made extensive arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims, including setting up camps, medical facilities, & security measures. DC emphasized the administration's commitment to facilitating a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage for all devotees. He also appreciated the support from the Direct-orate of Tourism Jammu and the J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages in organizing the event and promoting the cultural heritage of the region.
The "Mata Ka Jagran" at Shri Chandi Mata Bhawan was not only a spiritual gathering but also a testament to the rich cultural traditions of Kisht-war. The event successfully brought together people from different walks of life, united in their devotion and reverence for Shri Chandi Mata. As the Ann-ual Shree Machail Yatra commences, the District Administration Kishtwar remains dedicated to ensuring a memorable and spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims.
