HC upholds PSA of govt employee in drug trafficking case

JAMMU, Oct 16: Justice Mokasha Khajuria Kazmi of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court upheld the detention under PITNDPS of Amit Pal Singh an Govt employee.
While dismissing the petition filed by Amit Pal Singh, Justice Mokasha Khajuria Kazmi after hearing Advocate Asheesh Singh Kotwal for the petitioner whereas AAG Amit Gupta for the UT, observed that the court is convinced that the detention order is well-reasoned and does not call for any interference whatsoever. In view of above, there is no perversity in the impugned detention order passed by the respondents. The petition is dismissed being devoid of any merit.
