15 days certificate course on Integrated Nutrient Management for Input Dealers concludes

Jammu, 15 Feb: Krishi Vigyan Kendra- Kathua concluded 15 days certificate course on Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) for Input dealers. This programme was started on 28.01.2025 under the dynamic leadership Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. B.N. Tripathi, SKUAST-Jammu and guidance of Dr. Amrish Vaid, Director Extension, Directorate of Extension, SKUAST- Jammu. The main objective of this programme was to acquaint fertilizer dealers about integrated nutrient management and enable them to renew their license for fertilizer dealership. This course was attended 22 participants.
Dr Amrish Vaid, worthy Director Extension, Directorate of Extension, SKUAST- Jammu graced the valedictory function of this programme as Chief Guest. The programme was conducted under the guidance and directions of Dr. Vishal Mahajan, Chief Scientist & Head, KVK- Kathua. At the outset, hebriefed about the KVK mandates and activities to participants. He elaborates the importance of this 15 days training programme for input dealers in near future. He explained the basic motto of this programme and introduced the participants. This 15 days trainnig programme was coordinated by Dr. Vishal Sharma, Scientist- Agronomy, KVK-Kathua He gave a preface of training programme conducted for 15 days.
He told the house that different experts from SKUAST- Jammu, Department of Agriculture, Kathua, and resource persons from fertilizer companies gave their expertise to participants of this training programme. Participants were also got an opportunity to visit soil lab and other units of Agriculture Department of Kathua and moreover one of the IFS farm of progressive farmers' of Kathua.
