Two-Day national seminar on “Roadmap for Revamping Higher Education through NEP-2020” concludes

Jammu, Feb 15: The two-day National Seminar on "Roadmap for Revam-ping Higher Education through NEP-2020," organized by the School of Teacher Education (SOTE) and the School of Social Sciences at Cluster University of Jammu, in collaboration with the Government College of Education, Jammu, concluded successfully on February 15, 2025. The seminar aimed to foster discussions on the future of higher education in India under the framework of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Jyoti Parihar(Co-Conv-enor- National seminar), Principal, Government College of Education, Jammu. She warmly welcomed all the dignitaries, participants, and speakers, setting the tone for two days of insightful academic exchange.
The Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr. Abdul Majid Bhat, JKAS, Director Finance, Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department, graced the event, along with the Guest of Honor, Ms. Ankur Mahajan, JKAS, Registrar of Cluster University of Jammu. Other notable figures includedDr. Mohd. Zubair (Convenor-National Seminar), Dr. Satinder Kour, Dr. Ranvijay Singh, Dr. Romash Chander, Dr. P.K Sharma, and Dr. Vishal Sharma(Co-Convenor-National Seminar), who were present during the valedictory ceremony.
The seminar comprised five insightful sessions, each led by eminent speakers and session chairs, including Prof. Ekta Gupta, Dr. Rajinder Kaur, Dr. Seema Arora, Dr. Monika Sharma, Prof. Archana Koul, Dr. Shalini Rana, Dr. D.K. Bangotra, and Dr. Jai Pal Singh. Over 60 papers were presented during the seminar, both in online and offline formats, by scholars and experts from distinguish states like Jammu& Kashmir, West Bengal, Punjab, Delhi, Gujarat, Andaman & Nicobar islands, Karnataka, Utter Pradesh and Uttarakhand of Bharat.
