DC Reasi reviews Mission YUVA, PM-SYM implementation

REASI, May 14: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review applications submitted under Mission YUVA through the Skill & Busin-ess Development Unit.
During the meeting, the committee conducted a detailed scrutiny and evaluation of the applications, following which 241 cases were approved for financial assistance and institutional support under the programme.
The Deputy Commissi-oner directed the JK Bank authorities to ensure expeditious processing and timely disbursement of all approved cases so that the beneficiaries can establish their enterprises at the earliest. He also instructed the concerned departments to create new batches for entrepreneurship and skill development progr-ammes & stressed that no training centre should remain inactive.
Later, the Deputy Co-mmissioner chaired ano-ther meeting to review the implementation & progr-ess of the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM) in the district. During the meeting, the Deputy Commiss-ioner reviewed the registration progress under the scheme and assessed the performance of the concerned departments and agencies involved in its implementation.
