Residents of Ward No. 32 raise civic issues with MLA Arvind

Jammu, May 19: Residents of Ward No. 32 met Jammu West MLA Arvind Gupta on Tuesday and apprised him of various developmental issues affecting the locality, particularly problems related to lanes and drainage infrastructure.
The delegation was accompanied by Mandal President Anil Angral and social activist Geeta Sodhi.
During the interaction, residents highlighted concerns over damaged lanes and inadequate drainage facilities, stating that the issues were causing inconvenience and affecting daily life in the area. Giving a hearing to the delegation, Arvind Gupta assured residents that developmental works concerning Ward No. 32 would be addressed on priority and necessary steps would be initiated for improving civic amenities.
The MLA said strengthening basic infrastructure, including proper roads and drainage systems, remains essential for sanitation, public convenience and overall development of residential areas.
He further stated that equitable development across all wards of Jammu West constituency remains a focus and reiterated his commitment towards improving civic facilities.
Gupta said regular interactions with residents help identify ground-level concerns and enable timely resolution of public issues.
