Narinder inaugurates development works at Lower Gadigarh, welcomes new BJP members

JAMMU, May 24: MLA R S Pura-Jammu South Constituency, Dr. Narinder Singh Raina today inaugurated a newly constructed slab on a Nallah and also commenced lane and drain construction works at Lower Gadigarh here today. The inauguration programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, BJP workers and prominent citizens of the area.
The event also marked the joining of Advocate Nindia Sharma with her family and several prominent persons and local residents into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Welcoming the new members into the party fold, Dr Narinder Singh said that BJP is a party committed to the principle of "Nation First" and works dedicatedly for the welfare and development of all sections of society.
He expressed confidence that the newly joined members would strengthen the party at the grassroots level and contribute towards public welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Narinder Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken strong initiatives for reservation of women and empowerment of women across the country.
He alleged that the Congress party rejected such progressive measures for the sake of vote-bank politics.
He, however, expressed confidence that the Modi-led Government would eventually succeed in passing the women's reservation bill in Parliament.
Highlighting the developmental agenda of the BJP Government, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several major development works have been initiated across Jammu and Kashmir with the aim of strengthening infrastructure and improving the quality of life for the people.
He added that development remains the top priority of the BJP Government.
The MLA also spoke strongly against corruption and appealed to people to extend full support in building a corruption-free society.
He said transparency and accountability are essential for the progress of the nation and called upon citizens to actively participate in eliminating corrupt practices from society. He further praised the digital revolution introduced by the Modi Government, stating that India has witnessed remarkable transformation in digital banking and online services. He remarked that today banking facilities are available on mobile phones, making financial services easier, faster and more accessible for common citizens.
