Channi meets Lt Governor, raises development issues of Tral

SRINAGAR, May 29: Senior Congress leader S. Surinder Singh Channi on Thursday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed various issues related to the development of Tral and employment opportunities for local youth.
During the meeting, Channi highlighted the need for accelerating developmental activities in the area and sought greater focus on initiatives aimed at generating employment opportunities for young people. He also projected several public welfare and infrastructure-related issues concerning Tral and urged the administration to take appropriate measures for their early resolution.
The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured consideration of the matters projected during the meeting, an official communiqué said.
