PSPS GCW Gandhinagar Alumni Association discusses student-focused initiatives

JAMMU, June 1: The Alumni Association of PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhinagar, held a meeting on Sunday to discuss its future roadmap and strengthen alumni engagement for the welfare and development of students.
The meeting was chaired by Principal Dr. Kulvinder Kour and focused on planning academic, curricular and co-curricular activities to be organised by the association during the upcoming academic year.
The members deliberated on a range of initiatives aimed at benefiting students academically, professionally and personally. Suggestions were also put forward regarding mentorship programmes, career guidance sessions, skill-development workshops and student support activities.
At the outset, Dr. Kulvinder Kour was welcomed by Alumni Association President Adv. Radha Sharma, Director Dr. Nalini Kohli, Vice-President Dr. Davinder Kour, Secretary Madhavi Sharma, General Secretary Dr. Renu Nanda and member Sakshi Sabarwal.
Among others present were Dr. Aran Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Vijender Kumar, Assistant Professor and Staff Secretary, and Prof. Suman Bala.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal appreciated the enthusiasm and commitment of the alumni and highlighted the significant role they can play in the growth and progress of the institution.
She encouraged greater collaboration between alumni and the college to create meaningful opportunities for students and strengthen the institution's academic and professional support system.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Davinder Kour, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, alumni members and all participants for their valuable suggestions and cooperation.
