Director Agriculture Jammu reviews progress of HADP, CAPEX, CSS and NABARD projects

JAMMU, Jul 9: Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta today chaired a review meeting to assess physical and financial progress of developmental projects and schemes being implemented in Jammu district under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), CAPEX, Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and NABARD.
The Director reviewed physical achievements and financial expenditure under all ongoing schemes, examining infrastructure works, utilisation of funds, progress of sanctioned works and district-wise implementation of approved action plans.
All officers were directed to ensure that every developmental work is carried out strictly in accordance with the approved action plan and prescribed timelines, with field officers closely monitoring execution so that projects are completed within the stipulated period without compromising quality.
He further instructed the officers to process and submit bills to the treasury expeditiously to avoid delays in financial progress and ensure optimum utilisation of allocated funds within the current financial year.
He also directed Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and implementing agencies to maintain complete financial discipline and process all eligible payments promptly.
The Director further instructed officers to maintain proper documentation, submit periodic progress reports in a timely manner and ensure close coordination among implementing agencies for achievement of scheme objectives.
