Amarnath Yatra crosses three lakh pilgrims in 12 days, sets new record

SRINAGAR, Jul 14: The annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has crossed the three lakh pilgrim mark within the first 12 days of the pilgri-mage, setting a new record, officials said on Tuesday.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha congratulated officials, service providers and volunteers for their contribution towards the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor said the yatra had achieved a historic milestone by crossing three lakh pilgrims in just 12 days.
He appreciated the dedication and hard work of all stakeholders involved in the pilgrimage, saying their efforts had ensured a smooth and memorable experience for devotees of Baba Barfani.
