CCI president visits Amarnath Yatra langar, lauds welfare society’s service

JAMMU, Jul 15: President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI), Jammu, Arun Gupta on Wednesday visited the langar organised by the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society at the Tawi River Front and participated in serving food to pilgrims undertaking the annual Amarnath Yatra.
Gupta, accompanied by Vice President Rajeev Gupta, Senior Vice President Anil Gupta and Treasurer Rajesh Gupta, reviewed the arrangements made for the pilgrims.
The CCI delegation was received by National Executive President of the Society Rajkumar Goyal. Senior members of the society, including Parvinder Singh Happy, Manthan Goyal and Avinash Chaudhary, were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Arun Gupta said serving devotees during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra was a matter of privilege and spiritual satisfaction. He urged people from all walks of life to participate in humanitarian and voluntary service activities and appreciated the efforts of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society in providing food and other facilities to pilgrims.
Rajkumar Goyal said the society considered it a blessing to serve devotees visiting the holy Amarnath shrine and reaffirmed its commitment to extending all possible assistance to pilgrims during the yatra.
The office-bearers of the society thanked Arun Gupta and the CCI team for their visit, stating that it had boosted the morale of volunteers engaged in the service of pilgrims.
Among others present were Raman Vaid, Vikas Garg, Dr Goutam Goyal, Kuldeep Luthra and Dharampal (Pali).
