MLA Bhardwaj launches work on Rs. 1.5 crore Kaghote-Lehari road

RAMNAGAR, Jul 26: Ramnagar MLA Dr Sunil Bhardwaj on Sunday inaugurated construction work on the Kaghote-Mora Lehari road, a long-pending demand of residents aimed at improving connectivity in the rural areas of the constituency.
The road project, sanctioned under NABARD at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.5 crore, will provide all-weather connectivity to residents of Kaghote and Lehari villages and improve their access to essential services.
Addressing a gathering of local residents, Panchayat representatives and party workers, Bhardwaj said strengthening road infrastructure in rural and far-flung areas remained among his priorities.
He said efforts were being made to provide better connectivity and infrastructure to deserving villages across the Ramnagar constituency.
Bhardwaj thanked the Lieutenant Governor's administration and the Public Works Department for facilitating execution of the project.
Local residents welcomed the start of construction work and thanked the MLA for taking up their long-pending demand. Later, Bhardwaj joined BJP workers and local residents at Lehari Booth to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio programme "Mann Ki Baat".
Following the programme, the MLA interacted with party workers and urged them to continue working at the grassroots level to ensure that benefits of government welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.
Senior BJP leaders, Panchayat members, local residents and party workers attended the programmes.
