IIM Jammu hosts International Delhi Public School students for academic exposure visit

JAMMU, Aug 6: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu hosted a delegation of students from International Delhi Public School at its Jagti campus as part of an academic exposure programme aimed at familiarising young learners with higher education opportunities and the Institute's academic ecosystem.
A total of 40 students, accompanied by three teachers, visited the campus and were welcomed by the Media and Publication Division of IIM Jammu.
The programme began with a guided tour of the campus, during which the students visited the Institute's technology-enabled classrooms, Nalanda Library, Vedanta Executive Education and Consultancy Block, Mandapam Auditorium and Rangmanch Amphitheatre.
The students also viewed an audio-visual presentation highlighting the growth, achievements and academic initiatives of IIM Jammu.
They were briefed about the Institute's academic programmes, admission process and opportunities available in the field of management education.
During an interactive session, students gained insights into campus life, academic programmes, student activities and the Institute's learning environment. They also interacted with officials and sought information on various aspects of management education and career opportunities.
The Institute highlighted the importance of exposing young students to premier institutions to broaden their academic horizons, encourage informed career choices and foster critical thinking, innovation and lifelong learning in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
