DPS Katra organises Tiranga rally, awareness programmes with J&K Police

KATRA, Aug 11: Delhi Public School (DPS), Katra, in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Police, organised a Tiranga rally and a series of awareness programmes aimed at promoting patriotism, national unity and responsible citizenship among students.
The rally from DPS Katra to Sanjeevani NH witnessed enthusiastic participation by students carrying the National Flag and spreading messages of patriotism, unity and national pride.
Students were addressed by Kameshwar Puri, JKPS, SP Katra, on the theme "Drug-Free Nation". He sensitised them to the harmful consequences of drug abuse and urged them to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthy and drug-free India.
A Cyber Crime Awareness Programme was also conducted by SP Katra, focusing on cyber safety, responsible digital behaviour, prevention of online fraud and safe use of technology. Students were encouraged to remain vigilant, safeguard their personal information and adopt responsible practices while using digital platforms.
The programme was attended by Kameshwar Puri, JKPS, SP Katra; Bhishm Dubey, JKPS, SDPO Katra; Ranjeet Singh, Inspector and SHO Katra; and SI Akhilesh Khajuria, Chowki Incharge, Kakryal.
