Sham calls for encouraging young talent at ‘Spirit of Independence Season 3’

Jammu, Aug 17: KMB & KB Productions, in collaboration with Betiya Foundation, organised 'Spirit of Independence Season 3' here with patriotic fervour, providing a platform for young participants to showcase their talent.
MLA Jammu North Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest, while Keshav Chopra, social activist and Chairman of Samvedna Society, was the guest of honour. The programme was organised by Kiran Kesar Sharma.
The event featured singing, dance, poetry and modelling performances, with participants showcasing their creativity, confidence and patriotic spirit. The performers were felicitated with certificates and trophies.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma appreciated the organisers for providing children and youth an opportunity to showcase their talent. He said such programmes help build confidence among youngsters and strengthen their connection with the nation and its cultural heritage.
He emphasised the need for parents, institutions and social organisations to encourage youngsters to participate in constructive and patriotic activities. Keshav Chopra congratulated the organisers and participants and said children should be encouraged to pursue their talents alongside academics. He called for organising patriotic programmes throughout the year to keep youth connected with national values.
Chopra also stressed the need to channelise youth energy towards constructive pursuits and gave the message, "Say No to Drugs & Yes to Talent".
Social activist Dheeraj Uppal, Divyansh Baba, Vinay Gupta, Ashok Sharma, Tarun Sharma and Amit Sharma, journalist, among others, were present on the occasion.
