MHAC School Nagbani holds investiture ceremony

Jammu, Aug 18: Mah-araja Harisingh Agricult-ural Collegiate School, Nagbani, Jammu, organised its Investiture Cerem-ony on Tuesday, with students taking charge of various leadership positions in a ceremony marked by discipline, enthusiasm and ceremonial spirit.
The programme began with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a Guard of Honour and March Past by the school band and house contingents. A cultural presentation was also organised on the occasion.
The newly elected Students' Council was formally introduced, followed by the Badging and Sash Ceremony. Principal Sonia Anand pinned the badges on the Head Boy and Head Girl and formally entrusted them with their leadership responsibilities.
Akshra Bhagotra of Class XII-B was appointed Head Girl, while Aayan Sharma of Class XII-A took charge as Head Boy. Mohina Sharma of Class XII-A was appointed Student Coordinator (Girl) and Vishal Kaith of Class XII-D as Student Coordinator (Boy).
The sashes and badges of Prefects, Captains and Vice Captains were pinned by their respective House In-charges, while Club In-charges pinned badges on Club Prefects and other office bearers.
The newly appointed student leaders subsequently took the oath to uphold the values, discipline and dignity of the institution and discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, integrity and dedication.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Sonia Anand congratulated the newly appointed council members and emphasised that leadership carries responsibility. She urged the student leaders to perform their duties with discipline, humility, integrity and a spirit of service.
She expressed confidence that the newly constituted Students' Council would work collectively towards maintaining a positive and disciplined school environment and contribute to the overall development of the institution.
The Head Boy and Head Girl also addressed the gathering and expressed their commitment to serving the school community responsibly and leading by example.
