Rotary Club of Kashmir, Ecotourism Association representatives meet LG

Srinagar, Aug 18: Dr. Touseef Bhatt, President, Rotary Club of Kashmir, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed initiatives aimed at youth empowerment, environmental conservation and drug de-addiction.
Bhatt also expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for his continued support and commitment towards societal welfare and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, Sameer Baktoo, President, Ecotourism Association of Kashmir, also met the Lieutenant Governor and highlighted issues concerning sustainable tourism, preservation and conservation of the region's natural heritage and fragile ecosystems.
Baktoo also discussed the need to promote "No-Polythene" practices across hill stations to strengthen environmental conservation efforts.
