Nine advocates appointed as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana HC

NEW DELHI, Aug 20: The President has appointed nine advocates as Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court for a period of two years, according to a notification issued by the Department of Justice on Thursday.
The appointments have been made under Article 224(1) of the Constitution and will take effect from the date the appointees assume charge of their respective offices.
Those appointed as Additional Judges are Monika Chhibber Sharma, Harmeet Singh Deol, Pravindra Singh Chauhan, Rajesh Gaur, Puja Chopra, Sunish Bindlish, Minderjeet Yadav, Divya Sharma and Ravinder Malik.
The notification was issued by the Appointments Division of the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, on August 20, 2026.
