Justice Sanjeev Kumar visits Teetwal, inspects Camp Court, Legal Aid Clinic

KUPWARA, Aug 23: Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and Executive Chairman of the J&K Legal Services Authority, on Sunday visited Teetwal and inspected the Camp Court and Legal Aid Clinic established there.
During the visit, Justice Kumar was briefed by Judicial Magistrate, Karnah, Mansoor Ahmad Mir, about the functioning of the Camp Court, pendency of cases and the area being served by the facility.
The visit focused on reviewing the functioning of the Camp Court and Legal Aid Clinic and assessing their role in providing access to justice and legal assistance to people in the remote border area.
Registrar General of the High Court M K Sharma, Member Secretary of the J&K Legal Services Authority Shazia Tabassum, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kupwara, Manjeet Singh, SDM Karnah, Tehsildar Karnah and officials of various departments were present during the visit.
