DIG Nisha Nathyal visits newly established HQ of 1st JKAP Women Battalion

Jammu, Aug 24: DIG IR Range Jammu Nisha Nathyal on Monday visited the newly established headquarters of the 1st JKAP Women Battalion at Pargalta (Bajalta), Jammu, following the shifting of the battalion from its temporary location at APC, Channi Himmat.
During the visit, Nathyal inspected the headquarters premises and reviewed essential facilities, including ladies' hostels, water supply arrangements, mess, CCTV surveillance and overall security arrangements.
She also took stock of the infrastructure and administrative arrangements put in place for the smooth functioning of the battalion at its new location.
Commandant, 1st JKAP Women Battalion, R.C. Kotwal, along with other officers and officials, welcomed the visiting officer and briefed her about the newly established headquarters and arrangements made for the battalion's functioning.
Nathyal interacted with the personnel and encouraged them to maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty.
