Hindi Diwas celebrated at BSF School Jammu

Jammu, Sep 14: Hindi Diwas was celebrated with enthusiasm at BSF School, Jammu, on Monday with a series of educational and creative activities aimed at promoting interest in and appreciation of the Hindi language among students.
The programme featured an essay-writing competition, quiz competition and slogan-writing competition, among other activities. Students participated actively and showcased their knowledge, creativity and communication skills.
The essay competition provided students an opportunity to express their views on various topics in Hindi, while the quiz tested their knowledge of Hindi language, literature and general awareness. The slogan-writing competition encouraged students to present creative messages highlighting the importance of Hindi.
The activities provided students an engaging platform to learn and participate in healthy competition while creating awareness about the rich literary and cultural heritage associated with the language.
Students who performed well in the various competitions were honoured with certificates presented by Principal BSF School Jammu Dr S K Shukla.
Addressing the students, Dr Shukla highlighted the importance of Hindi as a language closely associated with India's culture, traditions and heritage.
He encouraged students to use Hindi confidently in their daily lives and contribute towards its promotion.
The celebrations concluded with students gaining learning experiences and developing greater appreciation for Hindi through a combination of education, creativity and cultural awareness.
