TBS conducts first placement drive for MBA batch 2025-27

JAMMU, Sep 18: The Business School (TBS), University of Jammu, conducted its first campus placement drive for the MBA Batch 2025-27 in association with Talla Jewellers Pvt. Ltd., with 10 of the 13 participating students selected for employment opportunities with the organisation. The recruitment process comprised multiple stages of interaction and assessment, during which students were evaluated on communication skills, aptitude, managerial competencies and overall suitability for the positions offered.
The selection of 10 students marks the beginning of the placement process for the MBA Batch 2025-27 and provides students with exposure to corporate recruitment practices and industry expectations.
The drive also highlighted the alumni-industry connect, as Talla Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. is owned by Aman Talla, an alumnus of The Business School.
Director, TBS, Prof. Amisha Gupta, congratulated the selected students and appreciated the Placement Committee for its efforts in planning and coordinating the recruitment drive. She also thanked Talla Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. for providing the career opportunity.
Prof. Gupta acknowledged the support of Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. Umesh Rai, in strengthening industry linkages and creating career opportunities for students. She also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Farah Choudhary, Place-ment Coordinator, and Placement Committee members Dr. Saloni Devi, Dr. Aubid Hussain Parrey and Dr. Shelleka Gupta for their planning, industry engagement, coordination and mentoring.
